Direct Speech	Indirect Speech
Kalimat langsung/kutipan asli suatu pembicaraan tanpa adanya suatu perubahan . Penulisan direct speech selalu diapit oleh tanda kutip	Kalimat tidak langsung/kalimat yang menceritakan kembali pembicaraan seseorang yang  telah mengalami perubahan

Rumus :

Past Perfect Tense ß Past Tense ß Present Tense , Present Continuos ß Future Tense

Jadi , jika ketika direct speech berada di Present Tense maka untuk indirect speech mundur menjadi kondisi ketika Past Tense , begitupun dengan tenses lainnya sesuai panah

2.     (D)  Marina said : “ I will study hard “

(I)              Marina said that she would study hard         

3.     (D) Loly said : “ Are you angry ? “

(I)              Loly asked me if (wheter) I was angry

# if/wheter digunakan untuk yes or no question

4.     (D) Ellen said : “ Where do you live ? “

(I)              Ellen asked where I lived

#semua kata tanya dapat digunakan (5W+1H)

TUGAS :

Membuat dua buah kalimat Direct and Indirect Speech (possitive and interogative)

1.     Direct        Kevin said : “ I am doing my job here now “

Indirect     Kevin said that he was doing his job there then

2.     Direct        Bobby said : “ Who is Katy Perry ? “

Indirect     Bobby asked who Katy Perry is
